Colonial Open Floor Plan

This home in Lexington used to have a 70’s style first floor with rooms separated by multiple restricting walls. This caused a disconnect from room to room and made the spaces very dark as light couldn’t travel throughout.

We revamped this space completely by removing these small door entrances to the kitchen, dining area and living room and creating a colonial open floor plan in its place. We added many beautiful new features, including French doors in the living room that leads to the family’s patio. We also refreshed the fireplace with a striking stone accent wall.
