GEOFFREY SHAFER

Owner & CEO

Geoffrey, the owner of PEGASUS Design-to-build, created the company in 2003. Geoff grew up in Richmond, Virginia and received a degree in Management Information Systems from Virginia Commonwealth University in 1986.

Geoff handles the inner-workings of PEGASUS; in addition to overseeing long-term planning for the company, he consults with potential clients case-by-case to figure out how PEGASUS may best assist them, as well as creating construction estimates for new clients.

As an experienced builder, Geoff takes pride in delivering exactly what is promised, on schedule and at the guaranteed price. With help from his team, Geoff has built PEGASUS from the ground up to be an efficient design-build firm that can be trusted to deliver high-quality service in creating beautiful home remodels.

Damian Deopersad

Project Manager

Damian, PEGASUS Design-to-Build’s Project Manager, grew up in Winthrop and has a construction management certification from Columbia University. After graduating, Damian worked in the home energy industry and most recently as Senior Project manager / Chief Engineer for the FDA.

He works with the PEGASUS carpenters and sub-contractors to ensure that the daily, weekly and monthly scheduling is strategically planned and in motion. Damian is constantly in contact with clients to ensure that they have consistent updates about their projects With Damian as your Project Manager, construction runs smoothly, and any problems are solved.

Doug Brown

Architectural Designer

Doug earned his bachelor’s and master’s in architecture at Roger Williams University. He began his post graduate career at an architecture firm based in New Haven Connecticut, before moving to the Boston area. His focus includes adaptive reuse and renovations to spaces, and his designs work to balance pragmatic approaches and beautiful layouts.

He gained skills in a range of fields around architecture, including carbon fiber boatmaking and manufacturing, but always had a passion for design-build. Doug will transform your homes from existing spaces into new livable experiences that take in your needs with experienced design skills and coordination from first meeting to final closeout.

Josh Hyland

Carpenter/Onsite Manager

Grew up all around the Boston Area
Has been working in the industry for 22 years
Began working with PEGASUS over 12 years ago
Favorite part of the job is cabinet installations and doing exterior trim because these are very detail-oriented and clean cut
