Step-By-Step Process

GETTING STARTED

Call us to discuss your project, if it seems like a good fit, we’ll schedule an Initial Project Consultation with our architect at your home.

When we meet, we’ll explore your project in more detail, confirm your budget range and perform a preliminary site inspection. Next, we will prepare a design agreement and budgetary estimate for your project, if you decide to move forward, we can then begin working with you on the design.

DESIGN SERVICES

Our architect will begin working on your floor plans, presenting you with several initial options. Throughout the design process you will be able to see detailed, photo-realistic, three-dimensional renderings and be invited to our office for a “Virtual Tour” of your new space, which is the best way to see your rooms before they are actually built.

When the design is finalized, we hold a trade meeting. This meeting includes everyone who will play a role in the project’s successful completion, such as our carpenters, plumbers, electricians, and heating and ventilation experts.

Once the floor plan if finalized, we will prepare a detailed estimate for your review. In addition to the costs associated with the project, the estimate will include a description of the project, a project plan and preliminary schedule. We will discuss the estimate together and adjust it as needed. As soon as this is completed, we can move into the pre-construction stage of your project.

PRE-CONSTRUCTION

When you are satisfied with the project’s design and estimate, you sign our Letter of Intent, formalizing your commitment to PEGASUS Design-to-Build and moving you onto our construction schedule.

Our pre-construction manager will work with you to finalize allowances for finishes and other selections that need to be made before construction starts.

Once all selections have been finalized (at least 7 weeks prior to construction start), we will update the estimate to reflect the personalized choices that have been made and have you in to sign the construction agreement.

CONSTRUCTION

As soon as construction begins, we will communicate with you daily, keeping you up to date with the progress. In addition, each project has its own specially created website containing specifications, plans, schedules and other documentation that is easily accessible to the entire team including you, our client. This keeps everyone on the same page while providing access to important project information 24 hours a day.
