Meet The Team

GEOFFREY SHAFER

Owner & CEO

Geoffrey, the owner of PEGASUS Design-to-build, created the company in 2003. Geoff grew up in Richmond, Virginia and received a degree in Management Information Systems from Virginia Commonwealth University in 1986.

Geoff handles the inner-workings of PEGASUS; in addition to overseeing long-term planning for the company, he consults with potential clients case-by-case to figure out how PEGASUS may best assist them, as well as creating construction estimates for new clients.

As an experienced builder, Geoff takes pride in delivering exactly what is promised, on schedule and at the guaranteed price. With help from his team, Geoff has built PEGASUS from the ground up to be an efficient design-build firm that can be trusted to deliver high-quality service in creating beautiful home remodels.

MIKE BODEK

Project Manager

Mike, PEGASUS Design-to-Build’s Project Manager, grew up in the Boston area and graduated from Boston University with a degree in Finance. After graduating, Mike worked as a siding and roofing sub-contractor until finding PEGASUS. He has been with the company since 2008.

Mike has held an Unrestricted Supervisor License since 2011. He works with the PEGASUS carpenters and sub-contractors to ensure that the daily, weekly and monthly scheduling is strategically planned and in motion. Mike is constantly in contact with clients to ensure that they have consistent updates about their projects and, for this reason, past clients often praise his communication skills and professionalism. With Mike as your Project Manager, construction runs smoothly, and any problems are solved in an instant.

KATIE ADLEY

Architectural Designer

Katie, the company’s Architectural Designer, has been in the industry since 2020. She studied at Wentworth Institute of Technology and Boston Architectural College where she received her accredited Bachelor of Architecture. She started her career in Nashville, Tennessee, later moving back home to focus solely on residential design. Katie’s time working for Boston-based architects pre- and post-graduation created the perfect balance of problem solving and connection to the craft of New England style homes. Katie’s niche is being able to evolve older homes to fit client’s needs while maintaining the home’s original charm.

Katie is the first face you will meet at Pegasus. During your first meeting, she will tour your home to fully understand the way you use your space in order to prepare designs that are far more functional and align with your needs. She initially provides multiple design plan options to help you imagine your new space and is always happy to give guidance in the decision process. Once construction begins, she visits the projects to give added attention to detail and quality control, so the desired plans are executed properly.

From start to finish, Katie helps clients attain the remodeled home they have always dreamed of, and she makes the entire design-build process a joy.
