Second-Story Addition and Garage
A ranch in Five Fields got a new second floor, raised first-floor ceilings, a garage and an open main floor.

Kitchen, Mudroom and First-Floor Remodel
A small rear addition for a mudroom, a steel beam to open the kitchen, and a first-floor bath with laundry.

Two-Story Addition and Kitchen
A two-story addition for a primary suite, a sunroom bump-out and an opened first floor with a new kitchen.

Kitchen and Two-Bath Remodel
Walls came out between the kitchen, dining and living rooms, and two upstairs baths were redone.

Kitchen and Family Room Remodel
The kitchen opened to the family room, with French doors to the patio and a remodeled mudroom.

Open Kitchen Remodel
The kitchen moved into the old dining room, opened on a new beam, with a long island facing the back windows.
What Lexington houses usually need
About 59% of Lexington homes were built before 1970 (US Census, American Community Survey 2019–23). Across our 18 Lexington jobs, the same kinds of work come up again and again.
Kitchens opened up
Kitchens walled off from the dining and family rooms. We take out walls, carrying load-bearing ones on new beams, so the main floor works as one room.
Bathrooms
Dated baths upstairs and down. Tubs give way to walk-in showers, with double vanities and new tile.
Additions
Second floors on ranches, two-story side additions, garages and mudrooms when the house needs more room.
